Chicken yakitori in the air fryer - Easy and flavorful Japanese recipe
Juicy chicken yakitori skewers glazed with a sweet soy sauce, cooked to perfection in the air fryer.

Instructions
1.Prepare the marinade
In a saucepan, mix the soy sauce, mirin, sake, water, sugar, ginger and garlic.
Bring to a boil, then simmer for 7 to 8 minutes until thickened.
Let cool.2.Marinate the chicken
Cut the chicken thighs into 2.

Mix with half of the cooled sauce and marinate for 15 to 30 minutes.3.Assemble the skewers
Thread the chicken pieces onto the pre-soaked bamboo skewers.
4.Air fryer cooking
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C.
Place the skewers on parchment paper in the basket.
Cook 3-4 minutes, brush with sauce, flip and cook another 3-4 minutes until slightly caramelized.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve with the remaining sauce on the side.
