Korean fried chicken in the air fryer - Crispy and spicy in 20 minutes

Instructions

• 1.Preheating the air fryer

  Preheat the air fryer to 200°C to ensure even and crispy cooking.
  

• 2.Breading preparation

  In a dish, mix the tapioca starch, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  Coat the chicken pieces in this mixture to cover them evenly.
  

• 3.Preparation for cooking

  Place the chicken pieces on a rack or plate.
  Lightly spray with cooking spray.

• 4.Air fryer cooking

  Arrange the chicken in the air fryer basket without overlapping.
  Cook 10 minutes at 200°C, shaking halfway through.
  

• 5.Sauce preparation

  Mix the tomato sauce, gochujang, honey and soy sauce in a bowl until smooth.
  

• 6.Final assembly

  Toss the cooked chicken with the sauce in a large bowl.
  Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and scallions if desired.
